Senator Shannon Grove (R-Bakersfield) is hosting a press conference with human trafficking survivors and the non-profit organization Love Never Fails (LNF) to announce Senate Concurrent Resolution 10 (SCR 10), which will be taken up for a vote on Monday, January 27 during Senate floor session. As a strong and relentless advocate for human trafficking survivors, Senator Grove makes it her mission to introduce the yearly resolution to recognize January as Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Senator Grove and attendees also will celebrate Senate Bill 1414, signed in 2024 and enacted on January 1, 2025, making it a felony to solicit, agree to engage or engage in sex with children.
