“It has been an honor to pay tribute to a courageous hero--Deputy Phillip Campas,” said Senator Shannon Grove. “This memorial interchange will stand as a reminder for all who pass it, that an incredibly brave officer made the ultimate sacrifice in order to defend others’ lives. Deputy Campas’ courage and dedication to uphold his oath to serve and protect our community will never be forgotten.”

Following the unveiling ceremony, the memorial interchange signs will be installed on Route 65 and State Route 99.
