Senator Grove Issues Statement on San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy, Sergeant Dominic Vaca Killed in Line of Duty

Senator Shannon Grove (R-Bakersfield) representing California’s 16th Senate District, issued the following statement on the death of San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Sergeant Dominic Vaca:

“Last night we lost Sergeant Dominic Vaca, he was tragically shot and killed in the line of duty while protecting our community. Sergeant Vaca served 17 years with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and was a Sergeant at the Morongo Basin Station. Please join me in praying for the family, friends and his brothers and sisters in blue. This is a devastating loss to those that knew him and the community that he selflessly served.”
