5701 Truxtun Avenue, Suite 150

Bakersfield, CA 93309

All donated backpacks will be distributed to students through the Open Door Network and the Kern River Valley Bridge Connection. These organizations, along with many others, play a crucial role in supporting the educational needs of our local community.

“I am thrilled to host this backpack drive and support our local students,” said Senator Shannon Grove. “With your generous donations, we can make sure that every child starts the school year with the tools they need to learn and feel confident in the classroom.

Together, we are making a positive impact in the lives of our youngest learners who are the future of our community.”
